Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel has a great central location, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of space, but there were a few issues to note. The service was polite and helpful overall, although some staff members were grumpy and unhelpful. The dining options were somewhat below standard, which could use improvement. The facilities were decent, providing the essentials for a good stay.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. On one hand, my room on the 14th floor, although a bit noisy, came with complimentary 4GB mobile WiFi upon request, and the staff was great. However, the rooms were in desperate need of deep cleaning and refurbishment.
The hotel's location is excellent, being very convenient with close proximity to Wan Chai MTR station, pubs, and eateries. The rooms are clean and spacious, providing enough room for luggage and walking around, although they can be a bit gloomy. Service is overall friendly, despite occasional lapses in friendliness and extra charges for simple amenities. The dining has shown improvement, particularly for those who enjoy Chinese breakfast. The facilities are in need of an overhaul, including the air conditioning system.
The hotel offers a great location in the heart of Wan Chai with bustling streets and a vibrant nightlife. The rooms are decent-sized, accommodating two people comfortably with space for luggage, although some cleanliness issues were noted. The service was fantastic, especially with a helpful staff member taking care of our bags and accommodating room changes. The location is excellent for easy access to dining options, public transportation, and attractions, making it a perfect base for exploration. However, the dining experience had some issues with undercooked bacon and subpar coffee, leading to a preference for alternative breakfast options nearby.
The hotel had some positive aspects like being offered the use of the executive lounge and friendly service. However, the room was smaller than expected and a little stuffy with no outside air. The location was convenient for our purposes in Wan Chai, but the room size and ventilation were not ideal.
My stay at the hotel was lovely. The room was a good size with a large and comfy bed, and I even got a handy smartphone to use with free 4G internet and calls. The staff were super friendly and flexible with my requests. The location was convenient with plenty of dining options nearby, but the room service was a bit poor. Despite that, it was a good value for money.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of experiences. The rooms were not up to par, felt damp and had a moldy smell, especially in the bathroom, but they were surprisingly spacious and well-appointed by Hong Kong standards. The service was professional and accommodating, although not overly friendly. The location was ideal for exploring Hong Kong, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions, but the dining options left a lot to be desired. Overall, the facilities provided were decent considering the value for money.
The hotel rooms were not up to standard since they were dirty, smelly, and appeared to be contained within a housekeeping storage closet, with constant chatter from the staff. Despite being soundproofed, the size was smaller compared to the Dorsett.
The hotel had decently spacious and clean rooms, but they felt very small compared to others I had stayed at. The service was very helpful and attentive overall, but not so much from the first front desk check-in staff. The location was very convenient, close to the MTR and various offices, yet the airport pickup service did not work. The dining experience was very basic with a lack of food variety. The facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel offers a mix of positives, including a free smartphone with useful amenities but suffers from small and dated rooms. The leaking roof issue outside the bathroom is a downside.
Despite a few drawbacks like the absence of a heater in the room upon check-in and small room size, the hotel is generally suitable for a short stay. The location is convenient, just a few minutes walk to transportation options, and the staff is attentive. However, the dining options may not meet all expectations.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms on the 14th floor are a real highlight, providing a free smartphone for local calls and internet use during your stay. However, the cleanliness on the lower floors could be improved, as I noticed some items on the floor that seemed to have been there for a while.
The hotel has quite small rooms with a view to the backside, but it's nice to have a rooftop pool even though more view would be lovely. The service can be a bit chaotic when busy, but they are happy to assist with all your needs. The location is very convenient with lots of supporting F&B outlets and good transportation links. The dining experience may have some quality concerns, but the Neapolitan pizza is pretty good. The facilities are great, especially with a handy smart phone provided for unlimited calls and 4G free of charge.
The hotel is conveniently located near pubs and offers rooms that were initially a bit old but got fixed promptly by the technician. It was a bit cold at night due to the window facade. The service was friendly and helpful, although they only change bedsheets every 3 days unless requested. The location is great, with easy access to transportation and only a 10-minute walk from the convention center. The dining experience had some issues with crowding during breakfast. Overall, a reasonably priced option with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was nice overall. The rooms could use some improvements, particularly in terms of cleanliness and size, as the bathrooms were quite small and not properly cleaned. However, the hotel staff was polite and helpful. The location was convenient, with easy access to the Wan Chai MTR station and a variety of dining options nearby. The dining experience was below standard during my stay, but I believe it was just a temporary issue. The facilities were adequate, although there is room for enhancement.
